A Fossil Gorgosaurus Metatarsal Bone Fragment from the Two Medicine Formation in Teton County, Montana.
Gorgosaurus was a large Tyrannosaurid Theropod which lived in the Campanian or Late Cretaceous Period approximately 76 million years ago.
These fragments came from a Metatarsal Bone identified as Tyrannosaurid but were unable to be assembled as the attachment parts were not existent. Gorgosaurus is the only Tyrannosaurid found in this specific quarry, thus the identification as Gorgosaurus.
