An authentic and positively identified Maiasaura peeblesorum Complete Caudal Vertebra (with intact process) Fossil from the Cretaceous (approximately 80 to 74 million years ago) Two Medicine Formation in Teton County, Montana.
The identity determination is certain Maiasaura peeblesorum and not a different hadrosaur because the exact site this fossil was extracted from has only ever had one hadrosaur discovered within it, that being Maiasaura.
There is restoration on the zygomatic portion of the Vertebra, on the bottom right anterior surface, and on the anterior portion which attaches to the chevron, shown in the final 3 photos of the listing.
